Standard Labels

The ZD410 is a versatile desktop printer that can print both standard rectangular barcode labels or jewelry tags. Once you've setup and connected the printer to your computer or iPad you'll need to open the media compartment, pull the release latches towards you and lift the cover. Ensure that the yellow sensor on the rail slider is at the designated web sensing mark.

Load your standard rectangular barcode labels by pulling the yellow roll holders apart, then with one hand hold open the holders and place the roll on the pegs. Make sure that the labels flow under the roll holder and through the guides. Leave one label sticking out from the printer mouth then close the media compartment.

Now that the media is loaded we need to run a smart calibration. Turn the printer on and wait for it to display a green or red status light. Then with two fingers press and hold the pause and cancel button for 2 seconds. The printer will begin feeding the labels out and in then spit a three or four out. Now you're ready to send the label to the printer!

Jewelry Tags

To switch to jewelry tags, turn off the printer and open the media compartment and remove the standard labels. To switch the printer from web sensing to mark sensing, slide the yellow sensor all the way to the left, then one click over to the right. Now you can load the jewelry tags, leave one label sticking out then close the media compartment. Turn the printer on and wait for it to display a green or red status light. Then with two fingers press and hold the pause and cancel button for 2 seconds. Once the printer is done feeding out labels, and the status light is green you can try printing now!
