Are your receipts being cut off on your Windows computer? This article will guide you through the process of fixing the issue.

For starters, go to the Control Panel in Windows and click on the "Devices and Printers" option.

Here is the Devices and Printers menu:

Right click on your receipt printer and click "Printing preferences" from the popup menu.

Here is the Printing Preferences menu:

Click the "Advanced" button at the bottom right of the above page.

This will bring you to the "Advanced Options" page:

In the Paper size dropdown, select "72mm x Receipt" in the dropdown.

Click OK to close the Advanced Options window, and then do the same for the Printing Preferences window. In the Properties window, click on the tab at the top for Advanced. At the bottom of the Advanced tab, find the Printing Defaults button and click on it:

You will make the exact same changes you did under Preferences, here, so in the lower right of the Printing Defaults window, click on the Advanced button:

In the Printing Defaults Advanced Options window, select your paper size and click OK to close this window, then click OK for the Printing Defaults window.

On the following page, click the "Apply" button.

Try to print your receipt again and it should no longer be cut off! If this issue does not fix your problem, please let us know at HRetailsupport@heartland.us.
