Getting Started

Navigate to the dashboard and hover over the Inventory link and select Adjustments.

This will bring you to the Adjustments page where you can view your past adjustments.

Click the New button to start a new adjustment.

Selecting a Location

Click the Set link under the "Location" header.

This will take you to a “location search” pop-up window.

In the search box type your location name or just select the name link. This will designate the locations inventory you'll be adjusting.

Selecting an Adjustment Reason

Under “Adjustment Reason” click the down arrow or the Select link.

Your custom adjustment reason list will appear. Click on the most appropriate reason for why the adjustment is being made.

You can add a note or simply save the adjustment to begin adding items.

Selecting items

You can begin scanning the items you want to adjust or click the Find link.

This will take you to an item search pop-up window, use the search box to find your items just like in the POS. You can search by product name, Item # or any of your custom field attributes.

Click the checkbox next to any item that you want to adjust.

Once the items are selected, click Add Selected Lines to head back into the adjustment screen to edit unit cost and quantity.

Unit Cost

The Unit Cost of the item should update automatically with the average cost or the item's default cost (if there's 0 on hand of the items).

Quantity Adjustment

In the "Qty Adjustment" box enter the amount you would like to adjust in or out of the specified location.

For positive adjustments you can simply type in the qty being adjusted.

For negative adjustments you need to input the dash/negative symbol before the number, for example "-1". This is used for adjusting items out of your inventory.

You will notice, after entering an qty adjustment, that a read-only field to the right of the box will display the quantity on hand after you've completed the adjustment.

Completing the Adjustment

Once all the fields have been filled out, click the Complete button and you're done!
